IMU SYSTEM FOR SKI MOUNTAINEERING

The system was applied in ski mountaineering to capture real movement dynamics using IMUs placed on the skis. This allowed the measurement of acceleration and motion patterns during ascents in real mountain conditions.

The collected data supports the analysis of stride behavior and technique, providing valuable insights into performance in ski mountaineering scenarios.

Performance Analysis

Our integrated system utilizes high-precision IMUs placed strategically on the skis and athlete. This allows for synchronization between video analysis and physical
movement data.
